The Hourly Oyster

Located in the heart of Harvard Square, Hourly Oyster House offers classic seafood dishes along with a nice selection of raw bar and oysters (of course). The restaurant is open and airy offering a welcoming vibe. When dining at an oyster house, it is sinful not to order oysters. We naturally had to order some to start and hey did not disappoint! Their selection of oysters are super fresh and high quality. The brunch menu is of medium size offering a lot of egg options such as eggs benny, omelet and quiche. Unfortunately, there is only one sweet option for an entrée and that is French Toast. But don't let that stop you from coming because this place is pretty amazing. We recommend trying the Banana Bread, which is served warm and topped with fresh fruit. Definitely give this a two thumbs up! For our entrée we went with the Crab Cake Benedict. It is served with two perfectly poached eggs on top of delectable, well-seasoned crab cakes as the base. Not to mention, the side of home fries are 👌🏻perfectly crispy on the outside; we had to force ourselves to stop eating them. The portion sizes are perfect – leaving you satisfied and not overly full. The menu is reasonably priced with everything between $12-16.
