South End Buttery

Our first brunch of 2016 is thanks to a recommendation from our follower @brunchismyfavorite. And as hungover New Year's Day brunchers, the South End Buttery is everything you need. The restaurant itself is tiny but adorably cozy. The menu is of decent size and has all the basics plus some extras like smoked salmon eggs yum!! The food itself is delicious. The pancakes are perfectly fluffy and moist and have a layer of crispiness that can only be achieved by large amounts of butter. The homefries are amazing. Literally amazing. We ordered a separate side of them that we'll feature in a subsequent post. They taste like they're deep fried and then rolled in salt... #heaven. Prices are also reasonable for the food quality. They also have a full bar and some tempting brunch cocktails.
