Scollay Square

What a cute little spot for brunch in Beacon Hill. The federal style columns, high ceilings and open space give a stately feel while the antique decor and colors make it cozy and inviting. Scollay Square also has a patio space, which is perfect for brunching on a sunny day.The menu is average in size but boasts of a variety of tasty options like benedicts and omlettes shown here, as well as other carbs and sweets. They also have some tasty drink concoctions. The food itself is very fresh, well seasoned, and the homefries are uniquely perfect in that they "take you back to childhood" in their resemblance to the old school tater tots your mom used to make. These ones though, are classy as f%*#. The prices are reasonable and appropriate given the tasty, fresh food, portion sizes, good service and overall restaurant quality. Also, don't leave without one (or two or three) of their Bacon Bloody Marys!
