Part of the MET Restaurant Group, Saltie Girl is a tiny seafood restaurant located in Back Bay. We do have to warn you, there is almost always a wait but it is definitely worth it. Saltie Girl offers a wide variety of fresh seafood and just about every single item on the menu unbelievably delicious. The bar is our favorite part of the restaurant with its Mediterranean inspired tiles and décor that make you feel like you are dining beachside in Europe. The actual brunch menu only offers two egg dishes: Eggs and Eggs and Bagel Benedict. However, you’ll find on the all-day menu Fried Lobster and Waffles and variety of toasts that are also suitable for brunch. We felt fancy AF while eating the Eggs and Eggs, which comes with soft scrambled eggs, caviar and brioche toast. It makes us want to eat our eggs like this all the time. The Fried Lobster and Waffles is another well-known menu item at Saltie Girl; it is New England’s version of the Southern classic chicken and waffles. This dish is topped with sweet corn butter and spicy maple syrup. The lightly fried lobster is so buttery that it melts in your mouth. The prices are on the higher end with everything ranging over $18. But the entrée sizes are decently sized and filling.
