Committee Boston

Committee is a Greek-Mediterranean restaurant located in the Seaport. This spot is typically known for its night-life scene but it is definitely worth checking out for brunch. The menu offers a variety of Mediterranean inspired items, such as Baklava Oatmeal and Shakshouka that will make your taste buds explode with excitement. Needless to say, we were excited to try something different than our traditional eggs benny brunch. The Breakfast Gyro is pretty darn amazing. It comes with scrambled eggs, grilled haloumi, loukaniko (fennel sausage) and florina pepper sauce wrapped in a warm, lightly grilled pita. The spices from the sausage and pepper sauce compliment the eggs and haloumi beautifully. Not to mention, the patates tiganites (Greek fried potatoes) are BOMB. The outside is perfectly crispy, just the way we like it 👌. We also loved the Tsoureki Toast (see previous post for closeup photo). It is Greek Easter bread, similar texture to Challah bread, that is thickly cut and topped with cinnamon, fresh berries and maple whipped cream. It has the right amount of sweetness and the texture of the bread is so heavenly that we were practically begging for more. We ordered the half-size portion and it was still pretty filling. The prices are reasonable with everything around $14. We definitely want to come back to try additional menu items and get their champagne tray
