Love brunch? Stay up to date on Boston's best brunches and upcoming Brunches of Boston events.
City Table is located in Back Bay inside the Lenox Hotel. The ambiance has a classy and elegant feel but the brunch scene is fairly quiet. Don’t let this fool you though, because the food here is bomb. If you’re all about eggs for brunch, City Table is the right place for you. The menu is medium-large and offers an extensive assortment of egg options like the Eggs Florentine (pictured here), Duck Confit Hash and a Breakfast Pizza. Not into eggs? Don’t fret – the menu has a few "healthier options" like the fruit plate (pictured here) and some items on the sweeter side. The Eggs Florentine, sister to the good ol’ Eggs Benny, is delicious and not only does it come on top of a bed of spinach but with ham – bonus! The lobster is optional, but we highly recommend ordering it. It is some of the freshest lobster we've had yet. Not to mention, they don't skimp out on the portion size, we mean just look at those claws! The fruit plate is incredible; everything is fresh and perfectly ripe. Even the avocado kicked hass ;-). We love that City Table uses fresh and local ingredients on their menu, an A++ in our books! The prices are extremely reasonable with everything ranging between $9-14 and the portions are large.
